School Board
The school board sets policies within the framework of the state school code and regulations of the state board of education. In effect, the school board is the legislative branch of the school district. The board defines policies which are implemented by the administrative and instructional staffs. District operations are audited annually by the office of the state auditor general.

3rd Tuesday of each month
Meeting - 7:00 p.m.
Meetings are held at the Administration Center located at 1210 Springhouse Road, Allentown, PA 18104.

Board Of School Director Vacancy
The Parkland Board of School Directors is seeking applicants for a vacancy on the Board. Residents of the district who are interested in applying for the position of School Director should submit a letter of interest, resume and completed application via email to frisbiel@parklandsd.net, Mrs. Leslie Frisbie, Board Secretary, Parkland Board of School Directors, 1210 Springhouse Road, Allentown, PA 18104-2119 (610-351-5510). Applications can be found on the district website at www.parklandsd.org under the School Board Section.
The person selected to fill the vacancy shall serve until December 2025. Completed applications must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on December 13, 2023.
