The Parkland Education Foundation has launched the Parkland School District Alumni Network to reconnect graduates and keep them informed about events, reunions, networking, and ways to support current students.  Alumni are invited to join in celebrating 75 year of Parkland pride and building a vibrant, connected community.

The Parkland Education Foundation's annual golf outing was September 26th at The Club at Twin Lakes.  This year's efforts resulted in $50,000 raised to support Parkland Schools - and plenty of smiles along the way!

Parkland High School Distinguished Alumni Wall of Honor
 

The Distinguished Alumni Wall of Honor recognizes Parkland graduates who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in academics, career, and community service. Eligible nominees must be 25 years of age or older.
 

Honorees are celebrated with a plaque displayed in the main lobby of Parkland High School and are recognized at a special reception. Nominations are accepted through November 30th each year, with selections announced in January.
 

This program not only honors accomplished alumni but also serves to inspire current students and the entire Parkland community.

Dr. Bret Lesavoy, a proud 2011 Parkland High School graduate, was inspired by his family’s roots in dentistry and medicine to pursue pediatric dentistry. After studying biology at Duke University and earning his D.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, he completed his pediatric residency at Columbia University Irving Medical Center – NewYork-Presbyterian Children’s Hospital. A Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Lesavoy returned to the Parkland community to open his practice, support the Parkland Alumni Network, and serve on the Parkland Education Foundation board — continuing his commitment to caring for and giving back to the community that shaped him.
