NOMINATION PROCESS

Distinguished Alumni Wall of Honor
The Parkland School District Education Foundation is proud of its establishment of a Parkland High School Distinguished Alumni Wall of Honor in 2012.  Wall plaques don the wall at the main entrance of Parkland High School for each honoree to date.  Each year, nominations are reviewed and announced in January.  The program is designed to recognize notable Parkland alumni who have brought honor to the Parkland School District.  Our hope is to not only pay tribute to alumni, but also inspire students and the general community who visit our high school for years to come.  We are seeking nominees who have distinguished themselves and contributed to society in an exemplary manner.  In order for alumni to be eligible for nomination they must be at least 25 years of age.

Number of Awards to be Given
Awards are to be given annually with the number of nominees inducted at the discretion of the selection committee.  The committee will choose from the applications which must be received by November 30th of the current school year.
