COVID-19 Emergency Grants for Teachers and Students

Due to the COVID-19 situation, the Parkland School District Education Foundation will not be holding its annual Gala this year.  We are focusing efforts to raise money to support a special "COVID-19 Emergency Fund" to support Parkland staff in their efforts to deliver digital learning to students in our district via "Emergency Grants."

The first program funded nearly 400 computer headsets for teachers to ensure clear communication with students during distance learning.

The Foundation is also printing and delivering senior graduation lawn signs in conjunction with Parkland High School staff to help bring cheer to the Class of 2020 and their families.

$1M Milestone Announced in Support for Parkland Schools
On August 1, 2019, the Parkland Foundation was pleased to announce that they've reached the $1M mark in funds given back to Parkland Schools with the announcement of 2019-20 awarded grants.  Check out the list of 59 grants  awarded to Parkland staff members for the 2019-20 school year

Since the Foundation's inception in 2011, in total, funding has included 390 staff grants and support for capital improvements such as TV Studio equipment for all schools, engineering lab machinery upgrade, turf field installation and new pool liner at Parkland High School.
