Jessica Bean
Hello! I am Jessica Bean, Reading Specialist at Cetronia Elementary School. I have been teaching at the elementary level for 23 years. Prior to joining the Parkland School District, I worked as a special educator, 1st grade teacher, and Reading Specialist. I received my B.S. in Elementary/Special Education from St. Joseph’s University and a Master of Education in Reading from Loyola University. I completed my Reading Specialist certification at East Stroudsburg University. I am married and love spending time with my 2 sons, Dominic and Nicholas, ages 16 and 14. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, reading, playing basketball, and spending time with my sweet beagle, Roxy.

Hello, my name is Jessica Holben. I am the reading specialist at Fogelsville Elementary School. I began my career in Parkland in the fall of 2000. Throughout my time in Parkland I have worked as a third and first grade teacher. I am happily married and have two amazing daughters. I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy hiking, cooking, and traveling. I can often be found curled up with a good book. It is a privilege to be Fogelsville's reading specialist. I hope to instill a love of reading in all children.

Amanda Williams
Hi, I’m Amanda Williams, Reading Specialist at Ironton Elementary. Prior to becoming a Reading Specialist in 2017, I was a classroom teacher for several years. I have experience teaching Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, and 4th grade. I received my Master’s degree in Elementary Education from West Virginia University and my Reading Specialist certification from Kutztown University. I live with my husband, Chris, two daughters, Claire and Cora, and our cat, Carl. I love spending time with my family, going on vacation to new places, and being outdoors. I love to read and hope to instill the same love of reading in the students at Ironton Elementary!

Hello, I am Kathy Pearson, Reading Specialist at Jaindl Elementary School.I have been working as a reading specialist in the Parkland School District for over 6 years.I am married and I have an 11 year old son and 15 year old daughter. Our family enjoys all kinds of sports and outdoor activities. My favorite place is the beach.I love to grow flowers and READ good books!

Hello! I am Andrea Marzano, Reading Specialist at Kernsville Elementary School. I received a B.S. in Elementary Education and Special Education and a Master’s in Education in Reading from Kutztown University. I have been teaching for 30+ years, and I have worked at Schnecksville Elementary, Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit #21, Ironton Elementary, and I am presently at Kernsville Elementary. I am married, and I have two daughters. I love spending time with my family, going to the movies, and finding a quiet spot to read a good book.

Hello, I am Nikki Gelfo, Reading Specialist at Kratzer Elementary School.I have had the pleasure of being the Reading Specialist at Kratzer since 2007. Prior to that, I taught first grade in a neighboring district for eight years. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Social Work from Elizabethtown College and then received my Masters in Education in Reading from Kutztown University. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, watching sports and cooking. My favorite place is the beach! I love sitting in the sun and listening to the sounds of the water.

Hello! I am Nicole Mandry, Reading Specialist at Parkway Manor Elementary School. Prior to joining the wonderful learning community at Parkway Manor, I taught fourth and first grades at Schnecksville Elementary for ten years. I also have experience teaching sixth through eighth grades. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania. I then earned my Master of Education in Reading and Reading Specialist certification through East Stroudsburg University. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, participating in my book club, hiking, and doing yoga. My husband and I try to visit our two daughters who live in Charlotte, North Carolina and West Palm Beach, Florida as often as possible.

Hello, I am Kaylee Swavely, Reading Specialist at Hello, I am Kaylee Swavely, Reading Specialist at Schnecksville Elementary School. Prior to joining the Parkland family, I taught 1st grade, 5th grade, and was an Elementary Reading Specialist in a district near Hershey, PA. I graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education, and then earned my Master’s degree in Language and Literacy and my Reading Specialist Certification from Penn State University. I am married and have a 2-year old daughter, Camryn, and will be welcoming a son in November. We also have an energetic and sweet puppy named Cash!

Hello, I am Taryn Gergar, Reading Specialist at Veterans Memorial Elementary School. I am thrilled to be part of the Veterans Team, where I can support my love of literacy. Before coming to Parkland, I taught kindergarten, first grade, and held a Reading Specialist position in another local school district. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education at East Stroudsburg University. I then earned my Master’s in Education and a Reading Specialist Certification through Cabrini College. Outside of work I love spending time with my wonderful daughter and husband and my two rescue pups. I also enjoy working out, reading, and going to the Florida Keys to visit my family.

Hi, my name is Zaheda Hasham and I am a Title 1 Aide at Cetronia Elementary! I graduated from Aston University in Birmingham, UK with a Bachelors in Business Administration, and then went on to work for Kaplan Test Prep as an Academic Coordinator. After having 2 sons, I stayed home for a few years and volunteered at my local Sunday School as a Kindergarten/Pre School Teacher. When my sons started school, I started working as a Co-Teacher at the Goddard School with students of various ages. I love teaching and inspiring children to be the best they can be. In my free time, I like to spend time with my family, cooking, and keeping fit!

Hi! My name is Michele Gagliardi. I was a substitute teacher in Parkland and Northwestern Lehigh for eight years before starting here at Cetronia. My family and I reside in the district and both my son and daughter have had the pleasure of being educated in Parkland schools! My hobbies include reading (of course), spending time with my family, and scrapbooking with Mrs. Folk. I also enjoy watching Flyers hockey and Vikings football.

Hi, my name is Amy Johannes. My husband, Frank, and I have 3 sons, Matt, Eric, and Drew. I graduated from West Chester University with a B.S. in Liberal Studies. I love walking, gardening, and spending time outdoors. I have worked in the Parkland School District since 2008.
Robyn Kleinhenz
Hi, my name is Robyn Kleinhenz. I am married with three children and have lived within the Parkland School District for over twenty years. I graduated from Seton Hall University with a degree in accounting. I enjoy reading, spending time watching my children playing sports and going to the beach in the summer.
Jen Steele
Jen Steele is a graduate of Lehigh University and got her MBA at Bentley College. She is married to Don Steele III, also a Lehigh alum. They have two daughters, Ashley and Erica who both graduated from Parkland. Ashley graduated with Honors from the University of Delaware this past May. Erica is a Junior at Lehigh University where she is also a member of the Field Hockey team.

Miranda Bickel
Mrs. Bickel is a graduate of Southern Lehigh High School and Shippensburg University, having majored in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. She spent approximately 15 years as a preschool teacher in Quakertown before joining the Fogelsville Title staff in the fall of 2020. In her spare time, Mrs. Bickel enjoys playing the clarinet with the Macungie Band. Her family includes her husband Paul, children Micah and Erin, two cats, a rabbit and two fish.
Linda Bolasky
Hi! My name is Linda Bolasky. It's my first year at Fogelsville School as a Title 1 Aide. Before coming to Fogelsville School, I was a music teacher, and later a 4th Grade Paraprofessional. I am also a professional musician, and play in community bands and musical theater. In my spare time I like riding bicycle trails, camping and sewing. I'm happy to be teaching the students here at Fogelsville.

Hi! My name is Jamie Csencsits. After graduating from Kutztown University in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in Special and Elementary Education, I was a special education aid for 5 years in Hershey. I am excited to get back to working in an elementary school after being a stay at home mom to my two children! In my free time I enjoy baking, walking outside and spending time with my family.

Hi! My name is Karen Rideout and this is my first year as a Title 1 Aide at Fogelsville. My husband, David and our daughters, Kailyn and Alyssa just moved back to Breinigsville. We are thrilled to be back home and settling back into the Parkland School District. In our spare time we love taking weekend trips to visit our older daughter at Penn State and spending time with friends and family.

Hi! My name is Janet Bigley. I am married and have four daughters. I have a Bachelors Degree from Bloomsburg University. This is my ninth year working in the Parkland School District and my third year as a Title/DRP assistant. In my free time I like to read, spend time with my family and watch my two youngest daughters play softball. I am very excited to work with the wonderful students and staff here at Ironton!

Hi! My name is Stacy Daniels. I am a certified teacher and worked in the Saucon Valley School District for 12 years before having children. I have 2 boys who attend Parkland School District. In my free time I enjoy skiing, hiking, running marathons, doing yoga, and traveling with my family. I've traveled to over 30 countries! I'm excited to be working with the students at Ironton Elementary this year and doing lots of learning!

Hi! My name is Laurie Dovico. I graduated from Kutztown University with a degree in Psychology. I love working with children and am very excited to be part of the Ironton Family! I have three children, Maci, Liam, and Owen, who all go to school within the Parkland School District.

Hi! My name is Hannah Gesicki. I am the Reading Specialist Intern at Ironton. I recently graduated from Kutztown University with my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I'm now enrolled in the Reading Specialist graduate program, which is why I'm currently interning here! On the days I'm not interning, I am subbing throughout the Parkland schools. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family and go on hikes. I'm so excited to work with your children!

Hello! My name is Jennifer Iobst. I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary/Special Education from Millersville University and a Masters Degree in Classroom Technology from Wilkes University. I taught at Parkland High School as a Special Education Teacher for 10 years before taking some time to stay at home with my four daughters who are also in the Parkland School District. I love spending time with my family, going to the beach, and being outdoors. I am thrilled to join Ironton as a Title 1 Assistant.
Heather Hurst
Hello! My name is Heather Hurst, and I am a Title 1/DRP Aide at Ironton Elementary. I have a Bachelor’s degree from Millersville University and a Master’s degree from California State University. I taught kindergarten and 1st grade for a total of 9 years; however, after having 2 daughters, I took some time off from teaching. During the last few years, I was substituting in Parkland School District. My husband and I love to watch our older daughter perform with the Color Guard and our younger daughter perform on the stage. I absolutely love teaching and working with children, and I am so excited to join the staff at Ironton Elementary!

Hello! My name is Stacey Sanchez and I am a Title 1 Assistant at Ironton Elementary School. I love working with children and I am so excited to work with and help all the Stallions at Ironton. When I am not at school, I am enjoying time with my family. We spend a lot of time on the soccer and football field. I am looking forward to an amazing year!

Hello, my name is Bonnie Laudenslager; I am a Title 1 Aide at Jaindl Elementary. My students know me as Mrs. L. This is my second year at Jaindl and I am very excited to be here. My husband Bill and I live in Orefield and we have three children; two daughters and one son. Our older daughter and son are out of the house pursuing their dreams and our youngest daughter is a senior. You can usually find me either at the gym or outside walking our dog around my neighborhood. I love to read, cook and bake and I enjoy watching college basketball and football... Go Blue!! Hopefully I can get to a game sometime in the future.
Hello! My name is Lisa Merk and I was lucky enough to join the Jaindl staff in the Fall of 2021. I have 4 boys, and a bunch of animals. My oldest son is a senior at Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA and is the goalie for their soccer team. The other 3 are seniors at Emmaus High School. They keep me busy with Baseball, Band, Cross Country, Fitness Team, Jazz Band, Soccer and Track. They are also all Eagle Scouts, which is an accomplishment they achieved but I get to be immensely proud of. My hobbies include watching my kids play their respective sports, cross stitching, painting, reading and gardening, which I refer to as my dirt therapy! I was a foster volunteer at the Sanctuary of Haafsville, but I had to give that up as I was terrible at it. I’m what you refer to as a foster fail, which is why I have so many animals. My fur babies make me happy and I enjoy taking care of them. I love helping kids learn and I’m so fortunate that I can be a small part of that journey with them.
Hello, my name is Melissa Severo. Most students at Jaindl know me as Mrs. S. I've been with Parkland SD since 2015. I grew up in the Poconos and received my B.A in Psychology from Cedar Crest College and my M.A in School Counseling from Rosemont College. I have two children who both attend Parkland. When I’m not in school, I enjoy watching my children play sports, reading, skiing, camping, relaxing on the beach, and spending time with family and friends
Hi! My name is Alexandra Wolff. I have been a Title 1 Assistant since 2017. Prior to raising my children, I received both my Bachelor & Master degrees in Audiology from Brooklyn College.
I have 4 children, 2 have graduated PHS and my younger 2 are presently a junior and freshman. At home we have 2 dogs, 2 hamsters and a conure!

I spent nine years working in elementary classrooms before having my two children. Now that they are both in school, I am happy to be working in the same district as them. I enjoy spending time with my family and watching my kids' sports and activities.

I am Rebecca Hagemes. I earned a B.S. in education at Kutztown University. I was a swimmer in high school and college. While I was in college I taught pre-k and kindergarten classes in a daycare setting. I love animals and have 2 dogs. I am married with 2 children. After having children I stayed at home for a few years. I have always loved working with children of all ages. In my spare time I enjoy reading, watching football and soccer and going to my children’s activities.

Hello! My name is Amanda Shihab. I graduated from Parkland, and received my B.S in Elementary Education, and my ESL certification from Pennsylvania State University. After graduating and completing my student teaching in Kernsville Elementary, I got married and moved to Dubai, UAE. There, I gained amazing experience and created wonderful memories teaching in all different types of classrooms for over ten years. I have an adorable little girl that I love spending time with! In my spare time I love reading, skiing, kayaking, cooking, traveling, crafting, and mostly teaching! I am so excited to be a part of the pack at Kernsville Elementary, and hope that I can help instill the love of reading in our students!

Hi, my name is Julie Snyder. I am a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University and have worked with children in various capacities, including the field of Child Abuse Treatment and Prevention. I have worked as a Title 1 Assistant at Kernsville since 2008, and consider it a great joy and privilege to help our students improve their Reading and Math skills. I am happily married with four adult children, a grandson and a rescue dog! In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, gardening, reading, and participating in outdoor and charitable activities.

Hello! My name is Donna Verna, and I am thrilled to be a Title 1 Assistant at Kernsville Elementary School. I have a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Cabrini University and a Reading Specialist Certificate from Cedar Crest College. I am an experienced teacher with several years in first grade, third grade, and the last few in kindergarten. All three of my daughters went through Parkland schools, and I am proud to be a part of such an excellent school district.

Hi! My name is Elizabeth Annunziata. I am married and have three grown children. I am a former school teacher, and am excited to return to the classroom to work with the Title I program. Working with children has always been a joy of mine. I have been working with the Title I children for over eight years and look forward to another year helping students achieve. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, children and friends. For relaxation, I enjoy gardening and swimming.

Hello! My name is Tara Imdorf. I have been married for 20 years and have 3 children in the district. My daughter and older son are in the high school and my younger son is at OMS. They keep me very busy along with my job as a title aide. I have worked at Kratzer for over five years, first as a playground aide and last year I was very excited to become a title aide. I am looking forward to working with all the great students at Kratzer!

Hi, my name is Amanda Lawler, proud Kratzer parent and Title 1 Assistant! I love gardening, watching football and hockey. My husband and I spend a lot of our free time with our children at the ice rink, playing hockey and figure skating. I truly love working with the students here at Kratzer and being a part of the Kratzer Family.

Hi, My name is Priya Suresh. I graduated from Madras University, India with a Computer Science and Mathematics major. I was working as a high school teacher in India before moving to the United States. I love teaching and working with all age groups of students. My family resides in the Parkland School District, and my children go to Parkland Schools. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, volunteering, gardening, and reading.

Hi, my name is Mary Jane Ward. My husband, Bob and I live in South Whitehall Township where we raised our four children, all graduates of Parkland High School. I am thrilled to have been a part of the “Kratzer Family” since 2005. Watching the students here grow and learn has been extremely rewarding to me. It’s an honor to be part of their elementary school experience!

Jen Frame
My name is Jen Frame. I have worked with children for the past 20 years and I cannot imagine ever doing anything else! I attended West Chester University and I have worked as a preschool teacher, Director of a Youth Fitness Program, and in both East Penn and Northwestern Lehigh School Districts in autistic support. This is my first year working in the Title 1/DRP program. My family and I moved to the Parkland School District this summer and love it here. My husband Steve and I have a daughter and 3 sons who are very involved and active in sports and activities and keep us super busy. I am so excited to continue working with students and supporting them in any and every way I can.

Hi! My name is Nancy Trach. This will be my first year as a Title 1 aide at Parkway Manor. I was born and raised in Berks County and moved to Lehigh County when I met and married my husband, who is a Parkland graduate. I have two daughters that attend Parkland at Orefield Middle School and at Parkland High School. I previously worked as a playground aide at Parkland and as a Paraprofessional and I have a passion for helping children achieve in their educational endeavors. When I am not working at Parkway Manor, I enjoy cooking and spending lots of outdoor time with my family.

Hi! My name is Marsha Cervantes. I joined the staff at Schnecksville Elementary in October, 2007. However, I have been a part of the Schnecksville family since 1998 when my oldest daughter started kindergarten. I have 3 daughters, Erica, Rebecca and Victoria, and a granddaughter, Adeline. Erica recently graduated from DeSales, Rebecca attends DeSales and Victoria is a student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Educating children and helping them reach their full potential is my passion.

Hello! My name is Zohra Datoo, a Title I/DRP Assistant here at Schnecksville! I grew up in Southern California and earned my AA in Liberal Arts. Moved to the Valley 23 years ago and currently live in Orefield. I have two amazing boys, one is a Parkland HS graduate and the other currently a student at OMS. Before coming on board with Parkland, I worked as a PS teacher for 10 years and absolutely love helping kids become the best humans they can be!

Hi! My name is Tina Jarrett. I was born and raised in Allentown, PA and attended Catasaqua High School. I majored in Education at Lock Haven University and worked as a counselor at Kids Peace for 27 years. I have three wonderful children. I love to garden and teach.

Greetings! I am Ann Lizak Title 1 Instructional Aide. I enjoy working with students of all ages and helping them to reach their potential.I have three sons~ Ethan , Jake and Adam. My husband, Rich, is a doctor who practices in Lehighton, PA. My fellow Title workmates would tell you I enjoy trying to make them laugh and have fun at work. Creating art is another favorite of mine. I will make props or create costumes for our Reader’s Theater plays performed by students.We are a household filled with pets & friends year round!

Hi! My name is Laurie Wallace Theisen. Before my husband & I moved to Allentown in 1999, I taught special education at the high school & middle school levels for 10 years. Since we’ve been here, I work at a church and teach at Northampton Community College. My husband and I met doing a show and our daughter Olivia inherited the "theatre bug" as well! I also enjoy crossword puzzles, history books/documentaries and travel. I am very excited to be working at Schnecksville!
Kelly Wehr
Hi! My name is Kelly Wehr. I live in Orefield with my husband and have three children. My first and only grandchild is enrolled at Schnecksville Elementary. I am also a Parkland graduate. I worked at Creative Kids School Age Center for five years where I was encouraged to enroll at Lehigh Carbon Community College and received my Specialized Diploma in Early Childhood Education. I then worked in Northwestern Lehigh School District for eight years as a one-on-one and continued my education at Penn Foster where I received my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. I am very excited to be working at Schnecksville Elementary School and getting to know the students and the staff! I like to think outside the box and integrate creativity in my teaching and I just love watching the lightbulb go off in the children! When I’m not Supporting the kids, you can find me gardening, sewing, drawing, and any kind of crafting projects.

Hello! My name is Luci Broadbent. This is my 22nd year working with children, 20 years spent working as a Lead Preschool/Pre-K Teacher and 2nd year at Veterans Memorial. This is also my 5th year as a Children's Nutrition and Fitness Instructor. I hold my degree in Early Childhood Education/Early Intervention and also have my Director's Diploma. I am a Parkland graduate and my husband Don and I have been together for 21 years. Our son Chaz is also a Parkland graduate and now attends West Virginia University. I am excited to be part of the Title 1 team and look forward to supporting students in every way I can.

Hello, my name is Subrina Pyle and I am a Title I Aide here at Veterans Memorial! I love teaching and I am so proud to be working with your children. I have always wanted to help students succeed in their studies ever since I was a young child in school myself and I am finally able to live out my dream. Some of my hobbies include baking, decorating, karaoke and long walks in the park. I love to travel and try new things. I am thankful to be apart of the Veterans Family!

Hello, my name is Vania Pabon and I am a Title Aide at Veterans Memorial. I am so happy and excited to have the opportunity to work in the same district from where I graduated back in 2017. I enjoy working with kids and hope to become a classroom teacher within the following years. My hobbies include spending time with my friends/family, watching a ton of movies, and trying new things!
Melissa Sutovich
Hello, my name is Melissa Sutovich. I have taught Kindergarten and Third Grade and a variety of support positions in my 33 years of teaching. I earned my Elementary Education Degree from Lebanon Valley College. I have taught here in Pennsylvania and North Carolina. I have been a Substitute Teacher for many years at Parkland School District. Two of my three children are Parkland Graduates and my youngest is a Junior at Parkland High School. My hobbies include golfing, cooking, decorating and spending time with my family. We enjoy playing golf together, going to Pittsburgh Steelers games and going to the beach. I was so excited to be asked to start a new adventure in my teaching career here at Veterans Memorial this year! I look forward to working with the students as a Title teacher!
Holly Yozviak Hello, my name is Holly Yozviak and I am a Title I Aide at Veterans Memorial Elementary School. Since childhood, I have always had a passion for working with children. After earning my degree in Elementary and Special Education from the University of Delaware, I went on to a gratifying career teaching middle school. I later transitioned to an equally fulfilling career as a preschool teacher and was promoted to the role of assistant director for several years prior to being hired as a substitute teacher for Parkland School District in early 2022. I am excited to be joining the team of exceptional Title I Aides at Veterans Memorial! I live here in the Lehigh Valley with my husband, our 3 children (all Parkland students), and our 2 golden doodles. In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, and any vacation that involves a beach!
