Title I Program
Welcome to the Title I Program!
This year, Parkland is in the second year of a 3-year Ed Flex Waiver which will allow the district to provide Title I services to all elementary schools. This is a process we have utilized in the past so that we can provide a consistent program to all qualifying students throughout the district. This year, the application to waiver will be utilized for Ironton, Kernsville, Parkway Manor, and Jaindl.
Public Notice of this application was posted on the district website and a survey was provide seeking public comment. The comments from the survey are available through this link.

This year all qualifying Parkland Elementary School will run school-wide Title I programs. School-wide, Title I assistants will be able to work with any student in the school and allows our district a greater flexibility in working with students.
100% Parent Participation is our goal for our Title I Program. Please get involved with your child’s education by attending workshops, visitation, conferences and school-wide activities. We are eager to provide assistance to our Parkland parents in assisting them to help their child learn.
Please plan to participate in the spring’s PARENT SURVEY. Results from this survey provide us with the necessary feedback that enables us to make future improvements to our program. Results will be shared with our Parent Advisory Council, Reading Specialists and Principals and upon request.
If you would like to be part of Title I planning, please contact Adrienne Kashner at 610-351-5660.
