Cafeteria Accounts
The Food Services Department operates all cashier functions through a point of sale software program.
Each student has an account established in the system, using their student identification number. This number and account will remain with your child throughout their years at Parkland. When your child purchases a meal or a la carte item from us, the amount is automatically deducted from the balance in your child’s account. A list of a la carte items is available on the food services department page of our District website.
To deposit money into your child’s account, the food services department offers an online payment service to our families. This service, located at SchoolCafe.com/ParklandSD, offers parents simple and secure online transactions and features the ability to: (1) monitor account balances, (2) track and review purchase history, (3) create low balance alerts, and (4) for a service fee pay with your credit, debit, or electronic checks.
As an alternative to SchoolCafe, payments can also be made via cash or check and sent to the Food Services Office at 2619 Stadium Dr. Orefield, PA 18069. Checks should be made payable to “PSD Cafeteria”. Returned checks are subject to a $25.00 fee. One check may be sent in for multiple siblings.
At any point during the school year, parents may place a restriction on their student’s account. Parents wanting to place a restriction on their student’s account may do so by notifying the cafeteria in writing. Once a restriction is placed on an account, it will remain on the account until we are again notified in writing to change it.
Welcome to the 2025-26 School Year!
The Food Services Department of Parkland School District welcomes all students and families and looks forward to serving your child this school year. Menus are available each month on the food services page of our District website, your building page of our District website, or from your building office.
Breakfast is free for all students for the 25/26 school year.
In addition, students who are approved for reduced priced lunch will also not be charged for the 25/26 school year. Lunch is $2.70 for elementary and $2.95 for secondary students. Families needing assistance with paying for meals may apply for meal benefits at SchoolCafe.com.
