The ASM Student Materials Camp is a fun and engaging way to spend one week of the summer, experiencing the STEM field of Materials Science and Engineering. This camp comes at no cost to those who are accepted, and runs from July 10-14 at Lehigh University. Students will perform hands-on experiments with professors and industry professionals, no experience required! Visit

Mad Science Camps! 

Mad Science of the Lehigh Valley offers kids a camp experience like no other! These awesome half-day camps are a new addition to SWT programs, and a great fit into your summer plans! As half-day camps, you can still make your other summer activities like our Summer Recreation Camp if you have transportation! Each week-long camp has a different theme. See more details below! 

2023 Mad Science Camps: Three different weeks, three different themes!

June 19-23: The Garden (Preschool, ages 3-5) 

This five-session preschool camp offers young children (ages 3-5) an exciting introduction to basic environmental science. With each session, children enrich their understanding of how living things grow and how they interact with the environment around them, through different aspects of the garden. $145.00 (SWT residents) $150 (non-residents). Click here to Register.

July 10 - 14: Claws, Codes & Constellations! (ages 6- 12)

Children discover how to send secret messages to their friends using special codes, explore how Newton's laws are at work in their favorite sports, and become young astronauts while exploring the mysteries of the solar system. $145.00 (SWT residents) $150 (non-residents). Click here to Register

July 31- August 4: NASA Journey to Outer Space! (ages 6-12) 

Set your future space explorers on a trajectory from our Earth’s atmosphere to the outer reaches of our solar system! This hands-on program brings them closer to the stars, planets, comets, and more. They learn about living in space, getting away from gravity, looking for space phenomena, and they participate in a rocket launch! $145.00 (SWT residents) $150 (non-residents). Click here to Register

Lil Athletics Multi-Sport Classes

Session 2: August 3- August 24  

  • Registration open Now
  • 5:00pm- 5:45pm age 3 (parent present)
  • 6:00pm- 6:45pm age 4
  • 7:00pm- 7:45pm ages 6-7
  • make up week will be provided if necessary 
  • Session runs June 9 – June 30 (Thursdays) 5:00pm (Age 3) 6:00pm (Age 4) 7:00pm (Age 5 & 6)

Camp JCC's all-day camp programs (9am-4pm, Mon-Fri) include arts and crafts, science and imagination, swimming, outside fun, dance parties, recreational time, field trips, special events, and more. Our trained counselors will provide care while children enjoy lots of great programming to fit their interests. Staff members will foster strong bonds, encourage team-building, and promote sportsmanship. Children will bring their own lunches and we’ll provide the snacks. Camp JCC has offerings for children in Pre-K - 10th grade. Learn more and register at
