Please read the school board policy on how to distribute electronic flyers to our families about recreational opportunities.   

Please submit your  electronic flyer for events and summer camps for approval using this form, Parkland School District Flyer Distribution Form, at least 2 weeks prior to when you would like to have it posted/distributed electronically.  

Flyers/Information for programs/events/activities that are not school-sponsored must include the following disclaimer, “The Parkland School District does not sponsor or sanction this program/event/activity.”

Current Events and Programs

American Red Cross Babysitting Certification Course (PDF)

Mondays & Wednesdays | 4:30-7:30pm | 5/11 - 5/20 at the JCC of the Lehigh Valley (702 N. 22nd Street Allentown, PA 18104) Ages: 11-16 Price: $145 | JCC Members: $120

Register at lvjcc.org/Babysitting or call the JCC at 610-435-3571. Learn to safely and responsibly care for children and infants, build leadership skills, gain essential childcare and safety knowledge, and learn how to start a babysitting business. This class includes a 2-year certification in Pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid.

St. Luke's Sports Center Rookie Program (PDF)

Introduce your little one to the world of sports with our Rookie Sports program! Designed for kids ages 2–6, these fun and engaging weekend classes focus on building basic skills, coordination, and confidence in a positive, supportive environment. From soccer to teeball and more, it’s the perfect way to learn, play, and have fun!

Then you should participate in our 2026 Sustainable Energy Science Fair! Located at: Net Zero Energy Building, 4250 Independence Drive, Schnecksville, PA
Eligibility: Student Status. Applicants who completed grades 5 – 12 during the school year are eligible to participate. Students who have completed grades 5 – 8 during the school year participate in the Middle School Division; students who have completed grades 9-12 during the 2025-2026 school year participate in the High School Division.

Parkland Girls Soccer Booster Club- Golf Tournament Flyer (PDF)

Parkland High School Girls Soccer Booster Club will host its 2nd Annual Golf Tournament & Community Day on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Shepherd Hills Golf Club in Allentown. The event is a community fundraiser supporting the Parkland Girls Soccer program and will include an 18-hole golf tournament, lunch, raffles, and awards. Non-golfers can also attend with a “Banquet Only” ticket to enjoy lunch, raffles, and community activities. Local businesses and community members are invited to participate through player registration or sponsorship opportunities.

All are welcome! For boys and girls ages 5 to 21! Join now to go to summer camp and day camps!

There are multiple Scouting units within the Parkland School District, that's why we kept it generic. If you could please share on social medias, digital backpacks, parents forums. I would greatly appreciate that! We are looking to impact as many youths as we can. Scouting is for boys and girls and we'd love to see all of them participate! We also do offer membership assistance for anyone who qualifies.

Community Athletic/Recreational Programs

Description: Pieces of Mind is a community hub that provides programming for all ages. We have art classes, movement classes for kid/adults, support, preschool/Kindergarten readiness activities, cooking classes, yoga, mindfulness and MORE!
