Our *22* year reunion is here!

We are looking forward to seeing our Parkland Class of 2000 classmates and spouses / partners on Saturday, April 30, 2022 for our 22 year reunion! While the pandemic delayed us a bit from celebrating 20 years, we are officially claiming 22 year reunion status.

Join us Saturday, April 30 at 8 PM at the Fowler Blast Furnace Room at SteelStacks for drinks, bites, and your wonderful classmates. Your $85 ticket includes an open bar for beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages (liquor is available for purchase), lots of appetizers, gratuities for the service staff, and a DJ spinning our favorite 90s hits.

If you can join us, we encourage you to purchase your tickets early so that you can ensure you have a spot. Our goal is to ensure as many people as possible can attend, although we might sell out of tickets.

We will be pre-gaming on Friday, April 29 starting around 7 PM at Retriever Brewing Company. There is no reserved space within the taproom, just look out for classmates.

Plans are set, but we will be announcing any reunion updates on our class Facebook page. Please join if you use Facebook and have not already done so. We will also email any updates directly to ticket holders as we approach April 30.

Indefinite Postponement Of 40th Reunion for Class of 1980

The reunion committee hopes that you are healthy and safe in what has been an unprecedented year for our planet.

As I write this email, the US is on track to suffer 400,000 deaths at the current rate of almost 4,000 a day. Many of us have experienced the impact of the Corona Virus on a personal level and others have been fighting it on the front lines for almost a year. To all, we hope that you are coping during this difficult time.

As you can imagine, to say that it has been a challenge to plan the 40th reunion would be an understatement. After much consideration, the committee has decided to indefinitely postpone this reunion. We will continue to review the situation, but it is better to look forward to our 45th reunion.

In closing I want to thank Kathy Moyer Gensits, Tracy Marie Kleinschuster, Jon Kuhns, Gwen Muth Mills, Dawn Sellers, Audrey Shankweiler-Clark and Patti Zocco for their continued support in planning these reunions. Without them, we could not pull them off.  Keep in touch with us at   Our website is You can also follow us on Twitter @PHSClassof1980.

Warm Regards,

Sunny Ghai
