The study of past events is crucial to understanding how the world works today. In my class you will learn to examine past events to understand why they happened and how they are connected to today’s ever-changing, interconnected world. On this website you will be able to connect to your specific subject, see what was done in class, print materials, respond to prompts, and get links to helpful websites.
What you need to bring to class everyday:
Pencil or pen
Textbook – your textbook MUST be covered. For American Studies I, please use only the extra-large book socks!
3-ring notebook – I highly recommend that you DO NOT use dividers for this class. If if you place everything in your notebook in the order that I hand it out you will have everything organized perfectly for test preparation.
Loose-leaf paper or a spiral notebook (for notes, warm ups, etc.)
Colored pencils, markers, crayons (optional)
