Hello! My name is Ms. Lindsay Simpson. I grew up in Warminster, Pennsylvania and received my Bachelor’s of Arts in Early Childhood/Elementary Education at Arcadia University (formerly Beaver College) in Glenside, Pennsylvania. Eight years ago, I graduated with my master’s degree in Classroom Technology through Wilkes University, and four years ago I completed 60 credits towards furthering my education. This will be my fifteenth year teaching in the Parkland School District. I have had the great opportunity to teach kindergarten and first grade at both Kratzer and Cetronia Elementary Schools. The past two years I have been teaching second grade at Cetronia Elementary School. The experience I have had teaching first and second grade has truly allowed me to witness first hand how important a strong kindergarten experience is to building the groundwork for life time learning. I am so excited and grateful for this opportunity to teach Full Day Kindergarten for the first time in Parklands history, especially at Kratzer Elementary! It is going to be a great year with lots of learning and fun!
