COPY OF LETTER Sent Friday, October 20th
From Nancy Werteen
Hi Everyone: Please note instructions for hair/make up for each character.
- The adult women should have their hair in a bun.
- Pupils who are girls should have their hair curly and down perhaps with a small bow or barrette.
- Girls should arrive for shows with their hair already done.
- Each actor should bring: Mascara, foundation, eye shadow palette, blush, lip stick and if possible, a make up brush.
We will be doing make up for the phantoms and the adults but the girls who are pupils will probably have to do their own make up which is standard stage make up—foundation, blush, mascara and lipstick. These girls should bring their make up with them for touch ups. Please advise if there are any allergies.
Also, consider using chap stick in the days leading up to the shows. We found many dry lips which can make make up application difficult. Any questions, email or text me: firstname.lastname@example.org or 610 462-1691. Thank you! Nancy Werteen

After Sunday’s performance, we will have a dinner consisting of Pizza/Fresh Vegetables/Fruit and various Snacks, Drinks, and Sweets! All cast and Crew must put some time into “Striking” this show. Not everything will be accomplished Sunday Evening, but we will get a great deal of the clean-up accomplished. Students who do not help with the strike will not be eligible to be a part of OMS Theater future shows.

There are minor pieces needed for many of the actors. Please take a moment to ask your son/daughter if they are in need of anything in particular. Each outfit should be complete including shoes and accessories. I am going to several thrift/charity shops over the weekend. If there is a particular piece of clothing, etc. that is needed, please let me know so we may acquire it at minimal of no cost.
Beginning over the weekend and continuing for the entire week, assistance is needed at almost every turn. There are sign-up genius lists for everything going on”
Each performance will have the following stations that will need parental/adult supervision and assistance:
- Ticket Sales
- Basket Raffle
- Kiss The Cast
- Face Painting/Pumpkin Decorating (Sat and Sunday)
There are two in-school performances on Wednesday, October 25 in addition to the three public performances. All of the timer slots are listed. Please take a moment and sign up! Even if there are no slots available, please join us….there will always be areas that will require assistance!
