Dorney Park Discounted Coupons

Dorney Park has once again provided Parkland School District with discounted coupons for Friday nights from May 3 – June 7, 2013. One dollar will be given to Parkland School District for each coupon that is redeemed during the promotional period. We hope you and your families enjoy the park.

PSD Security Protocol

Parkland School District has initiated a new security protocol in all of its buildings, requiring all visitors, including parents, to make an appointment with the school staff before arrival, except for those rare emergency situations. 4:20 Parent Pickup Location Change

With the growing number of students participating in extracurricular activities, we have seen an increase in traffic congestion during our 4:20 p.m. parent pickup time.  In an attempt to improve the flow of traffic during this time of the day, starting Wednesday, January 23, 2013, parent pickup will take place in the bus parking lot along the side of the school.  Parents can enter the bus parking lot via Springhouse Rd. or Crackersport Rd. near the Administration Center and proceed to the bus parking lot alongside of SMS.  The long stretch of sidewalk along the building should make the pickup process move more efficiently. Regardless of the measures we implement I ask that parents please follow the traffic signs on campus and form a single lane of traffic along the curb when picking up your child.  This change is ONLY for the 4:20 pickup time.  Parents should not use the bus parking lot during any other time of the school day.  Thanks for your cooperation with this new procedure.
