On Tuesday, June 25, 2013, the Parkland Board of School Directors appointed Tamara Stavenski-Bennick Assistant Principal of Parkland High School. She will replace Mrs. Jane Barthold who has retired.
Ms. Bennick is a graduate of LaSalle University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education and English. She also holds a Master’s degree in Education and a Principal’s Certificate from Wilkes University. She is currently serving as an assistant principal at Hatboro-Horsham High School. She also served as an Assistant Principal for Dieruff High School in the Allentown Area School District. Prior to becoming involved in administration, she was an English teacher for five years.
Superintendent of Schools Richard Sniscak stated, “Ms. Bennick is a strong instructional leader and enthusiastic, student-focused administrator with effective interpersonal skills that will allow her to be effective with children, parents, teachers, fellow administrators and community members. The interview committee is pleased to recommend her to join our administrative team and we wish her the best in her new role at Parkland High School.”
