On Tuesday, February 23, 2010, the Board of School Directors announced the appointment of Mrs. Diana Schantz as Principal of Parkland’s Fred J. Jaindl Elementary School. Mrs. Schantz, currently the Principal at Parkland’s Cetronia Elementary School, will be the first principal at the new elementary school when it opens in September 2010.
Mrs. Schantz is looking forward with excitement to joining the Jaindl community as the building leader. She has served as the building principal at Cetronia Elementary for the past six years. Prior to this experience, she was an assistant principal in the Whitehall/Coplay School District. She also taught at the elementary and middle levels for more than 10 years in the East Penn School District before moving into administration. She received her Bachelor of Art in Education and Psychology from Cedar Crest College, her Master’s degree in Education/Computer in Education for k-8th grades from DeSales University, and her Principal Certificate from Penn State University.

Mrs. Schantz cares deeply about the success of all students and has a proven track record of excellence. She is a strong and effective leader and we are quite pleased to announce her appointment as the new Principal at Jaindl Elementary.”
