The Parkland School District Education Foundation is proud to announce the Distinguished Alumni Wall of Honor Inductees for 2016. The Wall of Honor was established four years ago and is located inside the main entrance of Parkland High School. Wall plaques highlight the inductee achievements and include a current photo as well as the inductee’s Parkland senior picture. The individuals on the wall serve as an inspiration to all students to achieve excellence and remind our entire community of Parkland’s commitment to a quality educational program. Inductees will be honored at the Foundation’s 5th Anniversary Distinguished Alumni Gala presented by Coordinated Health on Monday, May 2, 2016, at the Holiday Inn Conference Center Lehigh Valley.

- Volunteer work or acts of service
- A positive impact on people or contributions to others
- Special recognition or awards
A selection committee comprised of one member from the Parkland Education Foundation Board, the school district’s administration, a seasoned Parkland teacher, a Gala Committee volunteer and a member from the local business community reviewed the applications and scored them using a rubric. The five finalists were then approved by the Foundation Board of Directors.
