On Tuesday, October 20, 2015, the Parkland Board of School Directors appointed Kurt Weber as the new PHS Head Baseball Coach as successor to Tony Galucy. Kurt inherits a program from Tony that has seen unparalleled success in the Lehigh Valley.
Mr. Weber has been part of the Parkland baseball program as an assistant coach since 1999. During those 17 years, Parkland has gone 303-101 with eight conference championships, five PIAA District XI championships and one PIAA State silver medal. Kurt has been an integral part of the ongoing success of the program. In the off-season, he also coached successful programs in Junior Legion baseball, youth football and youth basketball. Kurt assumed leadership roles in local youth sports organizations and Legion Baseball while coaching at Parkland High School. His accomplishments have been recognized through his induction into the Pennsylvania American Legion Sports Hall of Fame and through two local American Junior Legion baseball awards bearing his name.
Kurt Weber is a 1987 graduate of Parkland High School and a 1991 graduate of Shippensburg University. He is currently employed in the Technology Department at Lehigh University.
