The Parkland School District Education Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization whose primary goal is to raise funds to promote, enhance, and supplement the educational and co-curricular programs for the benefit of students and staff in the Parkland School District in order to preserve a tradition of excellence and help build the dreams of children in our community.
What is it?
The Parkland School District Education Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, tax-exempt charitable organization that exists to raise money and in-kind contributions for the benefit of students, curriculum, and facilities.
How are we funded?

Examples of funded items
Examples of funded items may be in the form of “Celebrate Innovation” grants that PSD staff can apply for and that are designed to enrich the curriculum, benefit a wide range of students, staff or community members, have measurable educational benefits, and are financially sound. Other funded projects may include facility improvements, new technology purchases, professional development opportunities for staff, K-12 learning/enrichment opportunities, summer learning camps, and scholarships for graduating seniors.
Other ways that the community may offer support of the Parkland School District is in the way of sponsoring events, activities or facilities. Sponsors may choose to sponsor National Teacher Appreciation Week gifts/breakfast, Professional Development seminars, senior citizen adult education classes and concerts, teacher reader’s club annual event, annual school volunteer appreciation luncheon, graduation at Stabler Arena, PSD retiree dinner, and more. Advertising space in the District’s newsletter and calendar is also available. Naming school facilities and signage in the districts’ facilities is also available. How You Can Help
- Monetary Donations – the Foundation welcomes matching funds, grants and gifts by alumni, local businesses, and the community at large. You can donate conveniently and securely by clicking on our donation page.
- In-kind Donations – the Foundation is always in need of office equipment and supplies, printing and design services, and items and services that can be used as prizes at special fundraising events.
- Memorial Donations – Honor the memory of a loved one by contributing in his/her name or create a gift within your estate for the foundation. A donor will receive a lovely card that can be filled out and sent to the person who is being honored that explains the donation.
- Volunteers – The Communications, Allocations, Governance, and Fundraising Committees are in constant need of volunteers. Or, consider getting involved on the Board of Directors.
