We have been very fortunate to have had some great weather! However, I’m afraid the cold weather has arrived.
Keep in mind that weather permitting, the children will be going out for recess as long at the temperature is 20 degrees or above. Make sure they are dressed warmly enough for recess. Send them with coats, hats and gloves when needed.

December 23: Early dismissal @ 1:45. Kindergarten will have a modified schedule.
Reminder:
When dropping off your child at the back door, please keep in mind that they have to be in their classrooms by 8:50.
The back doors will be locked promptly by 8:48 in order for them to have to to get to their classroom.

Hello Everyone,
I am able to extend the donation deadline for the Jefferson Elementary School in Allentown through December 19th.
Please encourage your students to bring in a donation. We are helping other children and their families this year by providing items including:
Card games that could be used at lunch recess such as Uno, Fish, Old Maid, etc.
Families there are in need of soap, shampoo, tissues, toilet paper, antibacterial lotions, other personal care items, diapers, and laundry detergent.
Every little bit we collect will help the Jefferson School community and our school community. Teaching children community outreach develops empathy, caring, and kindness. As you know, filling someone else’s bucket ultimately fills our own. 
All your help is appreciated.

This is a reminder that there will be a 1:45 early dismissal on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, November 21st-23rd for parent teacher conferences. Please check the lost and found rack while you are here for your conference.
AM Kindergarten will be held from 8:50 am to 10:50 am.
PM Kindergarten will be held from 11:45 pm to 1:45 pm.
- School will be closed November 24-28th for Thanksgiving Holiday.
Sunny D Spree program – The deadline for receiving all UPC’s for this years program is November 28. Please put all labels in the Gold PTO box in the lobby.
