Counseling Help

Feelings can be complex and scary for our students. If you need to touch base with one of our counselors because your child may be feeling anxious or distraught, please reach out to us by using this Guidance Counselor Directory.  Please leave your name, number, child’s name, and grade.  A counselor will be in touch.  Remember to answer the phone, even if you do not recognize the number.  If you believe your child is in serious crisis please dial 911 for emergency services.

The Parkland School District Student Services Department believes that school counseling services are an integral part of the total educational program. Our school counseling program, in collaboration with faculty, parents, and the community is designed to provide all students with opportunities and resources to accomplish developmental tasks within the areas of academic, career, and personal/social development needed to become effective learners, achieve success in school, live successful and rewarding lives, and develop into contributing members of society. The program is developmental and systematic in nature and is delivered through large group, small group and individual experiences. While school counselors establish and maintain this educational program, its implementation is the responsibility of the entire faculty and staff in collaboration with parents and the community.

Please visit our SCHOOLS page and choose your student's school and find GUIDANCE under the ABOUT tab to view information to any of our buildings.
