Guest Teacher Information

A Teacher Substituting Program offered by Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit

The Guest Teacher program provides an opportunity for individuals to become a day to day substitute teacher for the

following Lehigh and Carbon County public educational entities.

• East Penn
• Jim Thorpe
• Lehighton
• Northern Lehigh
• Northwestern Lehigh
• Panther Valley
• Parkland
• Salisbury
• Southern Lehigh
• Whitehall-Coplay
• Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit
• Lehigh Career and Technical Institute

Minimum eligibility requirements include a bachelor’s degree in any field. Upon acceptance into the program a payment of $25 will be assessed. If you successfully complete the program you will earn the credentials necessary for substituting on a day to day basis and be afforded the opportunity to renew those credentials on a yearly basis at no additional costs.
