Placement for the 2009-2010 school year:     

     Every year I receive requests from parents to have their child placed in a specific assignment.  Considerations of educational, academic, and social factors are the primary determinants in placement decisions for every child.  While it is not possible to honor all requests, I take them very seriously when placing students for the following year.      

     If you have a concern about your child’s placement, please put it in writing, and send to the office by May 15, 2009.  This is a firm deadline.  Many factors go into placements each year, and it is not possible to continue to make changes throughout the summer.  Since staffing is not completed by May 15th, a request including student specific needs is preferred, as opposed to a request for a particular individual.      

     Please be advised that it is not possible to provide individual responses to the requests.
