CareerLinking Academy – FREE for current Juniors and Seniors Click here for application
June 22-26, 2015 8 AM – 3:30 PM at Parkland High School – This camp is FREE thanks to our sponsors.
The purpose of the program is to prepare students to make meaningful career choices and to give them the skills they need to obtain a career. The students will get first hand knowledge from leaders in business and industry from around the Lehigh Valley. Benefits of attending: Resume Writing and Job Applications, On-Line & Mock Interviews, Career Cruising, ASVAB, College visitation to a local college and a Job Shadow experience based on Career Interest and Aptitude Testing. The program includes daily speakers about career pathways as well as the job outlook for the Lehigh Valley.  Students will research careers, create a portfolio and access on-line interviews. Camp Invention held at Parkway Manor Elementary School for students entering grades 2-6 on June 22-June 26, 2015  Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.! The program is being hosted by Parkland School District and will be directed by Michelle Moser.
Camp Invention is where BIG ideas become the next BIG thing! Join us as we celebrate our 25th year of reinventing summer fun! Local educators lead the week of hands-on activities created especially for elementary school children. Boys and girls spend time pushing the limits during high-energy games, working with teammates to construct a freestyle racing cart and taking apart electronics to assemble something one-of-a-kind. Lessons explore connections between science, technology, engineering and innovation. Don’t miss out on brand new challenges. Discounts are available and spaces are limited, so secure your spot soon.

Camp Innovation | STEM Camp in Lehigh Valley at LCTI  Camp Innovation is a STEM based day camp where students rotate through different labs learning cool and exciting things in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

Exciting summer experiences that will help your child’s success in school! Weaving academic learning into fun activities! STEM Camp is
geared for age 3 years through completion of kindergarten. Choose from 1-4 two week camp sessions.

Girls Experiencing Muhlenberg Science (GEMS) is a science day camp for middle school girls entering 7th through 9th grades. The program is hosted by Muhlenberg College, located in Allentown, Pa. Women faculty from biology, biochemistry, chemistry, environmental science, mathematics, neuroscience and physics will lead daily scheduled science activities, with a lunch break between the two daily sessions.
Monday-Friday, June 29 – July 3
9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Camp fees are $250 per student. 2015 ART /MUSIC/DANCE CAMPS

The Parkland Elementary Band & Strings camp will be held from Monday, August 3rd through Friday, August 7th. The camp is for students who have just finished 4th or 5th grade AND currently play a band or string instrument at school. Held in the Arts Wing at Parkland High School, the camp features a concert band and a string orchestra. Students participate in a daily ensemble rehearsal and small group instruction, plus have a choice to participate in a small ensemble, jazz band, percussion ensemble, or music composition class. Students also attend a mini-recital, given by a local artist/musician. The camp concludes with a public concert on Friday, August 7th at 10:30 AM. Ages 12 – 16  The camp is designed to give kids a hands on and educational learning experience exposing them to careers in emergency services – students will be exposed to vehicle extrication and rescue techniques, become certified in CPR and learn first aid, visit the SWT police department and engage in police activities; demonstrations from both fire and police K-9’s; learn about the Bomb Squad and get a demonstration of their specialized equipment, spend some time with members of the Lehigh County Special Operations team to learn about tech rescue; basic firefighting techniques as well as visit the Allentown 911 Center to learn about emergency communications.  We will wrap up the week with an obstacle course where campers will have the opportunity to put all their newly learned skills to test.
