Y-Care
Parkland School District is pleased to offer parents the opportunity to participate in the YMCA’s Y-Care Program.  Y-Care is a before and after-school program for grades 1-5.  A state-licensed child care program that maintains a 12-1 child-staff ratio, Y-Care occurs on site at Cetronia, Fogelsville, Fred J. Jaindl, Kernsville, Kratzer, and Parkway Manor elementary schools.
Morning sessions 7AM – 8:45 AM     2012-2013    $70.00/week
  • Note:  This includes late starts that are scheduled and unscheduled (such as inclement weather delays).  Children can bring breakfast, but food is not provided.  Please note that every elementary school has a breakfast program that children can buy breakfast from.  The cost is $1.10 for breakfast or $0.30 for those that qualify for reduced lunch/breakfast pricing.  The breakfasts can be deducted from the student’s CafTrac account.
Afternoon sessions 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM     2012-2013    $78.00/week
  • Note:  This includes any early dismissals, whether scheduled or unscheduled/inclement weather-related occurrences.  Homework assistance, a daily activity and a snack is included.
Full-time (Morning & Afternoon combination sessions)  2012-2013   $98.00/week
  • Note:  This includes early dismissals and late starts.
Parents can also purchase occasional use ($88 for five) or early dismissal tickets ($92 for five) for either late starts or early dismissals. Parents must register their child(ren) through the Allentown YMCA/YWCA for any of the options listed above as well as for occasional use.  For further information, please contact Y-Care at 610-434-9333 ext. 13.
