Welcome to the Department of Visual and Performing Arts website. This department is dedicated to the task of creating a positive arts environment throughout the school district so that all of our students, employees and community members have the opportunity to be exposed to the finest in all of the arts arenas.

While serving as a clearinghouse for the school concert series, this department is also at the forefront of bringing our students to see outside music, theatre, dance and art events. It is our belief that students excel when they are involved in the arts along with their academics and athletics.

Come and browse through the events available throughout the year and make an effort to come out and enjoy a concert, a play or a visit to a school based art show. Our faculty is busy all year preparing their students for these special events. The year culminates with the Parkland Festival of the Arts, a true community event that celebrates the abundance of art available to us in the Parkland School District.
